Things I Love: Haribo Cola Gummi Candy

Haribo Gummi Candy, Happy-Cola, 5-Ounce BagI’ve spoken at length about my devotion to Marks & Spencer’s fruit gums. So if you can’t tell, I love gummy candies and one of the best in market has got to be Haribo’s Happy Cola Gummy Candy. It really is the perfect combination – coca cola and gummy candy. I happen to love both.

Each individual gummy in the bag is shaped like a coke bottle. For the most part, the texture is nice and chewy unless you get a rogue hard piece. The coke flavour is also very nice. I’m a fan fan fan.

But did you know it can get even better? Haribo also came out with Fizzy Cola. It’s exactly like the original, except with an added sour, sweet, tangy coating.

Fuckin delicious. Excuse my language.

Things I Love: Marks & Spencer Fruit Gums

fruit gumsI am obsessed with Fruit Gums from M&S. Like seriously unconditionally OBSESSED!!!

I grew up eating these soft, chewy sweets as a kid living in the 852. There are 5 flavours: blackcurrant (black), lime (green), orange (orange), raspberry (red), and lemon (yellow). My aunt used to pick me up occasionally from ballet practice in Tai Koo and we’d wandered over to the Marks & Spencer near there. She’d buy herself wine gums while I go straight for the fruit gums and red currant puffs. Many many years later, I’m still extremely fond of fruit gums. Alas, I’m now based mostly in the States, where sadly, there’s no Marks & Spencer!!! Although, it’s really for the best because I tend to eat literally 3 packs by myself in one sitting. No joke, these fruit gums are crack!!

You can find these fruit gums at the food section in Marks & Spencer (obviously) or online here. Note: they’ve since changed packaging. The picture on the website I linked to isn’t even the most recent packaging. The most recent one is orangey yellow and has a see-through section so you know what you’re getting. Personally, my favourite flavours are red and black!!
